Porto
Departing at 09h00 from your Hotel in Porto, we will set off towards Fátima.
.
Fátima
From remote origins, it was Arab rule that marked the development of Fatima and gave it its name. The town has developed considerably since the Fatima Apparitions at the beginning of the 20th century, becoming one of the largest centers of Marian worship in Portugal and recognized worldwide by the Catholic Church. Here you can admire the grandeur of the Sanctuary of Fátima, which, laden with symbolism, blesses the hearts and spirits of thousands of pilgrims who flock there every year.
.
Aljustrel
We then suggest a stop in Aljustrel, the birthplace of the three little shepherds, where you can learn about the original context of the apparitions of 1916 and 1917 and the lives of the little seers, with a visit to a house museum and an ethnographic museum.
.
Coimbra
Coimbra, the City of Students, offers centuries of culture, since its days as a city of the Roman Empire, and is distinguished by its rich historical and architectural value, modern infrastructures and facilities to support the arts and sports, green spaces and shopping areas. On the other side of the Mondego, we recommend a visit to the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha and the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, which are home to stories of adversity and perseverance, with characters and relics that enrich Coimbra's heritage. In a privileged location in the city, you can visit the imposing University of Coimbra, the center of knowledge par excellence, a symbolic building that is a World Heritage Site.
