Description

Aveiro is known as "the Venice of Portugal" due to the network of canals that run through the city and give it life, and where the colourful Moliceiros boats circulate. Itinerary

Duration: 4h

.

Not sure what to do in Aveiro? Departing from your hotel at 09h00, your driver and certified guide will take you south to this coastal city, founded on salt production and maritime trade.

Aveiro is surrounded by salt pans, incredible beaches and small lagoons that still preserve the city's fauna, flora and traditions.

On the other hand, in the older part, you can still see the original facades of the picturesque colorful houses of the old fishermen, as well as a number of Art Nouveau pieces that are worth appreciating.

For a different perspective, we suggest taking a Moliceiro ride along the main canal!
Take the opportunity to admire the haystacks of the Costa Nova, the famous striped houses on the beach of the same name, originally in shades of red ochre and black, used as old warehouses for fishing implements.
